...I meant to play this on the way up through 9.05 but didn't get in on time... thought I had cancelled... (and I did) but TD Ameritrade did it again to me... I cancel and they still put it through when it came screaming back down... Luckily I suppose I was able to sell quickly and for a pathetic profit. I hate "fat finger" entries! I guess my home work today is to finish up my Suretrader paper work. I'm through guessing if my orders are going to be executed after I cancel them! Not a fan of TD!

I was playing off of retracement and break out lines.. quickly in and out, kind of choppy... I guess it was a good play.. made back some of the loss today from the software error... crappy though... should be up $150 today on YOD.. but shit happens and it's all good! (yeah I guess it's scalping - but I'm working on calming my trading jitters/psyche down which I'll write about here later)

This was complete crap... my software froze then on top of that started to randomly buy on the way down as well... (never put those extra 200 shares in) --- anyway... it's a nice $100 loss lesson to teach me to never leave me self with one way to sell my stock! I was up about $85-$90 when I wanted to get the hell out! I had to rush to TD's website to get out... guess I'll be leaving these pages up just in case! (GAWD I really hate TD's software!)

Once it popped up over 21.51 I bought in at the break out... a few minutes went by sold out at 22.50 - but spiked right up to 3 before falling back down... It's like riding a freakn rocket! Pretty amazing how quick it happens!

Quick and easy morning spike yesterday! Glad I took profits quickly... watched as level got nasty up near the top of the highs!

Entry comments: I went in after the b/o at 1.46 after watching PLPL run up from a 1.00 - I of course did not play it being this was my first play. But I decided to buy after it bounced off of resistances a few times at 1.45 - it went screaming to 1.53 and timed it well to get out before crashing back down. For some reason the trade didn't go through so I decided to just run it through this way anyway as my first successful (but not totally) trade!

Exit comments: Timed this break out pretty well... being my first successful trade... Of course I took a very small position of like $700 or something... The $35 I could have made if my software didn't bug out, is not a big deal. I guess it's good to know about these challenges before I start playing with big money! I'll do a blog post on http://tippingrevolution.com with chart and what not!
