Today I realized I have a habit of chasing a loss—meaning when I take a loss (really of any size) I immediately don’t take a step back in that moment to realize why the trade didn’t go my way... no thoughts at all. As I look back to the last several red days that I have had, this is a very common thing. I think for right now, I need to take the losses and instead of looking to “win” back the losses I need to really look at the why to the trade and start making smarter decisions with each trade. Just some thoughts... Don’t chase the loss and in real time look to see if the trade hit enough indicators that were important. Hindsight is always 20/20... All of these trades today I would up trade them in a new day. All pretty terrible trades.
