Doing some weekend research, I found that AVID had several press releases regarding recent technology products, specifically digital media. included in the releases is AVID connection with Microsoft collaborating on cloud based storage. Scott Guthrie v.p. of microsoft cloud and enterprise group was quoted on the contract. I picked up 1000 @ 5.40 ish yesterday. It's up .30 with no increased volume above average. I added 250 late yesterday afternoon anticipating a morning spike. Let's see if news has legs. Plan to get ..50 cents a share. Paper trade.
