Coming off of a very salty loss on CEI wanted to play this safer, and smaller. Stuck to my go to strategy that works for me, which is high volume, positive news catalyst, stock has spiked a few times in past 6 months, and last but certainly not least.. price action. set my take profit to early and could have made another .30 a share but, the small profit that will add up over time feels better than that mega loss i took on a swing trade i wasn't confident about.

Welp, this was my first overnight swing trade to get past that PDT rule. Broke a few rules, number one not cutting losses quickly. Was up 25% AH day i bought it, it had the volume thought it could make a run for $2 following day. i was wrong. figured price drop at open next day was just a dip, but it continued to drop. basiclly became a bag holder for the day and lost about 19% on the trade...first big loss, but on a positive note first true lessons learned. Not shook, just getting warmed up.

Was running really high volume, and my float and market cap preferences were right on target. paid attention to price action, and got in on a green engulfing candle. was in alerts chat and was getting feedback about stock from M. Goode. thought i could make .20-.30 a share and i did just that. learning to follow price action and the level 2 is a huge benefit for a new trader like me. back to studying. biggest gain to date!

Early morning spike off some good news..tried to enter this trade at 0.370 but it was going up to fast. able to execute my limit order for 0.380 and got out at 0.390. Out a bit early but stock was moving to fast, and made a high of 0.3990 before dropping. so i guess i wasnt that early on my exit. but made $61 in 3 minutes so im happy.

i had this on my watchlist. was doing very well in premarket, but i did a rookie move and bought at market price right when market opened at 6.44 and watched stock plumet to 5.30 before bottoming out. lesson learned here is dont place trade based SOLEY on previous day volume/highs and pre market gap ups. should always wait for price action. it bounced at 5.30 and i sold at 7. wheeeeeeewwww felt like i dodged a bullet there. comprehension on market volatility is needed as well.

i figured i could scalp a .50 cents a share due to the fact it was just so high up. was guessing there was gonna be some sort of resistance on the downtrend. not a full proof plan at all, dont plan on trading like this in the longrun. i just got excited to buy and sell with a profit. the W didnt so much grow my confidence as im not ignorant and kind of figure this was just luck, but instead just motivated me to study more and come up with my own strat.. which i will.
