We find the float info in the symbol's finance information. I use etrade but it can be found on yahoo finance.
you must mean Etrade website, because I don't see it on the app. I have Etrade, TOS, and TDameritrade apps. They'd all be great if they provided more details
yea... I just go to the mainsites because the apps seem to basic

Your TOS watchlist can be customized to show shares and volume, but not float.
You just need to scan through the top % gainers and keep track of the hot stocks with good patterns. If u have TOS u can have 6 charts+ open. I recommend having two screens. Can buy a cheap one on ebay for like 50 bucks. The BEST 50 dollars you will invest, trust me. That way TOS with 6 charts of the hottest plays, and on ur other screen u can scan through Finviz top gainers under "charts".
sadly, I don't have TOS on my work computer, or maybe thats a good thing :)

@FlexNib just became a fully transparent trader today!
See http://tim.ly/memsykes for coupons and the alerts are realtime reminders of my favorite patterns, good for education, but my top students see/trade before me as these stocks move FAST
Tim's alerts are not actionable, meaning you shouldn't trade them just because he alerted them. Use them to learn why he is going into trades. Look at the chart where he enters to determine why that was a good entry. Get - it includes Alerts and video library. I am still learning but have gotten better at trading over the past year watching boatloads of daily videos.
