Before I start, please excuse me if this question has been asked a million times, I'm new to this site so I figured I'd pose the question as a blog post. So I've been trading for a couple of months now; started out using the ever so lame robinhood app (I thought it was so great at first, now I realize how shitty it really is...). I then opened a TD account and I still use Thinkorswim for my technical analysis and charting, and I keep some of my money at TD. I also opened an Etrade account which I find myself using a lot, and they seem to have a decent selection of shares to short.

I've been wondering about which brokers are the best for short selling. I know that Interactive Brokers is a good one, and I've heard that maybe Speedtrader has a good selection as well? Is speedtrader better than Etrade for short selling I wonder? I'm only interested in brokers that require a minimum deposit of 10,000 or less by the way.

Any insight here would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.
