Hi Dritan, I like your result, seems like you are consistently profiting. Question on the book you suggested. Does it teach you how to find a strategy or niche that works for you or is it just another trading psychology masterpiece of his? Also, how did you find what is working for you? Thru trial and error, or learning from other people such as Nate? Thanks for your help man. @DritanKadiu

Hey Jaden, sorry for not replying earlier... Hope you're still at it :)

so anyway, I started like anyone else really.. by reading, and trying out some services. It all helps to a point. After that you will have to find your niche and exploit the shit out of it. At least that is what I've come to find out (through a long long learning process). And as for finding a niche, what i did was look at the best day traders out there and find out what their bread and butter is and do the same.

I'll let you in on the "secret".. FOCUS ON ONE SETUP!!! seriously!!! just one high probability setup... every course you take, every DVD you buy, every day trader mentor out there, everybody and everything will tell you the same thing. It's this advice that has given me the confidence to quite my job this year and start trading full time. Good luck to you man.

@kroyrunner Tim, you are inspiring me! I'm about 6 months in and I'm at my all time low, about 5,000. I need to turn this around and am determined to do so. Thanks for any help you can offer.

The most important thing is to understand where you are going wrong... what mistakes lead to your losses? Also, have to figure out which setups you are best at and most comfortable with, and then focus on just those for a while. That self reflection can go a long way

Thanks Tim, I've realized that if I bet bigger and get out quicker I can win, but I need to cut losses which is so hard for a small account.

@Ccormier2040 adding to what Tim said about self reflection. The book I've been reading the last couple months that has helped me tremendously is 'the daily trading coach' by Brett Steenbarger. Seroiusly I attribute a lot of my success this year to the information in that book. just go and look at my history the last couple months. I would actually recommend to stop trading completely until you start reading the book and implementing the ideas you learn.

@kroyrunner I've been day trading for a couple of years now, and over that time I've come to really appreciate what you do. Not only are you a great trader, but you go out of your way to help others realize their dreams of becoming day traders themselves.

@Makalu your winning percentage is amazing! what is stoping you from going bigger on your trades?

Thanks Dritan! Part of it is psychological-when I get in a big leverage trade I get siked out pretty easy. Mostly I trade within a game plan of limited R/R and am just looking for small scalps. I still don't feel like I can responsibly size up and a lot of my trades are "idea testers" for future gains.

But you are right, I should probably start increasing share sizes as a lot of kinks in my plan have been worked out recently.

I was reading one of your trades where you talk about not getting "swayed bearish" and that is one of my challenges, too! I tend to be very skeptical and short biased, which is wrong overall. There is not bear or bull side, just the "right" side.

@DritanKadiu Hey looks like you are going in pretty (real) big on your trades; if you've got a big account that's fine but if not, try scaling in. I usually hold under 1k shares even for smaller 2-10 dollar stocks-not that it's my business but gl any case.

Bought more BRGO just now. Total now is 150 million shares. The fact that dilution and note conversion is ending is HUGE... let alone the deals that are in the works with this stock. @GreenMachine and I are locked and loaded for the big run. $$$
