Comments about Ackman being put on the board brought a ton of trades to VRX today. I played a portion of the move. Could have held longer, but it was not as predictable as I initially expected.
This was actually a SPY call, bought just out of the money for a daytrade expecting a bounce, which we got. Small position, 25 contracts, but nice little profit.
Trying to find the bottom in this market is not smart... :)
Day trade - didn't want to hold overnight, but should have! Being cautious.
Turkey Crack trade! Simply didn't get enough shares. Tried for 10k, only got 100. Didn't want to chase, but made more than commissions, so great trade!
Very nice buy on the over-reaction to bad news. Likely had more upside, but getting out to be safe and take a nice profit.
Didn't like the action of the SPY here. Time to get out for a very small loss and reevaluate.
