Been taking it really low and slow. Making sure that I'm trading smartly! Beginning to wait for setup and getting much better at DIP buys.

2nd week trading! Where do I start, last week was a rude awakening to the life of trading. I got my reality call! Posted several losses and nothing makes you learn faster than that! I do believe that you need to have the feeling of money leaving your pocket in real time to understand how and WHY you need to use the techniques that Tim teaches. I do not want to sustain those loses again. ANYWHO, on a brighter note, day 6 of trading has been kind to me. I've been much more smarter with my plays and can see being patient works every time. Even by the time Tim post a trade, it is 50/50 because he usually post after going in which furthers the need to learn for yourself. I'm beginning to do that. But understanding RULE #1... is saving my BUTTOCKS!

This is my 4th day trading and though I'm losing (but not a lot), I'm learning. I know some would say that is stupid to lose money to learn but I assure you my education cost 40 times my biggest loss! LOL so it is worth it. I am recognizing my mistakes and starting to see these patterns Tim teaches. MGoode, your moderation of this room helps me a lot too! Congrats to all the WINNERS today... there are no losers... just learners! Have a great night!

I didn't know about the market halts and today, I learned the hard way. 2K+ Hard way! Basically, I was trading very well today, in and out within 2-3 minutes each time. Just so happen, I bought at $46 and literally right after that, the stock halted! You can't make this up! When it reopened, it was down over 50% with investors FIGHTING to get out including myself. I'm sure plenty of accounts felt the pain today when that happened. Nevertheless, I just started trading and basically erased my profits for the week (and went under $400). That is acceptable for me. I didn't blow up my account and still have enough to continue day trading. The market will definitely humble you. This isn't the only mistake though. I'm still adjusting to buying and selling in my platform. The other day, I placed a trade and as I went to sell, I ended up BUYING another 1K shares. This thing was sinking! But by the time I figured out what the heck was happening, it bounced and instead of losing $350, the bounce reduced my loss to $69! I think in the near future, I will be doing videos instead of typing bc it is a little faster PLUS you can see the pain on my face lol. One more funny, I apparently put in a 12 share bid that I forgot about. In the middle of just watching, I get a notification that my limit order had been placed. Needless to say, it was because the stock was coming back down. My trade executed and I made a mad dash to sell those only sustaining a $9 buck loss. #facepalm So yeah, this is definitely a journey. Cutting my losses quick is my moto as I'm sure it is for everyone but today was a little deflating to the ego. I'm determined to remain transparent and post all my trades so I can look back and laugh at some of these foolish mistakes and grow from them. Thanks for reading!

Overall market is going down today. Playing very cautious this morning. FOMO is not setting in. Continuing not to force moves. Taking a break to head into the lunch hour.
