Tried first short sell. Broke the rule of shorting into big contract/earnings movers but after seeing a quadruple top I figured to give it a try and cut my losses quickly if it broke out. Which I did. Good lesson learned, don't short contract or earnings winner even if they look toppy. Will look to stick to my best setup as of now, which is dip buying morning spikes

Another loss. The same thing, don't know what my thinking was. Not sure why I held for so long. Didn't cut losses quickly.

Have no idea what I was doing here. Posting this too late to remember what exactly I was thinking but I can say that I did not follow the #1 rule of cutting losses quickly.

Again, because I did not post this right away I have no idea what I was thinking but can say again I clearly did not follow the number rule and this is a trend that I am not good at buying at the close and holding overnight.

Could not get out when I wanted to because I got caught in settlement issues. Bad trade but good to learn not to make the settlement mistake again

Cut my losses on a stock where the price action did not perform as I wanted. Sold right before the big dip. Internet lagged as I was adjusting my entry price, so I entered at 1.64 instead of 1.60. First loss. Will look to make a better entry on the dip next time and take profits quickly if the stock doesn't look to be going as planned.

Got a good entry on the dip at 2.40. Good bounce. Sold at 2.62 due to the lack of breakout momentum and to lock in profits. Will re-buy in the afternoon if dips again and finishes strong.
