TRADING WITH SYKES - Blog 1

Introduction

Well good day traders/profit.ly users/worldwidewebsurfers/millionaires/.... Before I waste your time, this blogpost is just for entertaining purposes only. If you think you're going to become a succesful trader reading my first blog, you're kind of wrong. I don't want to scare you away by the last sentence but I don't want to waste your time either. If you want to take a break from studying and maybe have a laugh reading something that still has something to do with trading, you're in the right spot.

If this kind of blog posts is not appreciated in this community please let me know. Mr. Sykes himself said I should blog on this platform so I'll start here before actually going public on WordPress or something.

Who am I?

You've probably never heard about me as I just joined the challenge about 2.5 weeks ago. I've been following the great Mr. Sykes for a couple of months though and I literally watched every single free video there is on the web (I have nothing to do in my great/sad life). My name is Daan Luyten and I'm a 20 year old kid from Belgium (Yes Belgium like in Belgian waffles). I studied business management and I'm about to graduate in June. My hobbies are fitness as you can see on my personal instagram page Don_Fit (don't ask me why I come up with these stupid names. I'm not really good in creating a catchy username). I also like to motivate people and inspire them as you can see on the IG page I just set up with username Wolfofbelgium.

All I do in my life is thinking about how to become succesful. I came home from school and started to think about ways to make money and eventually be a millionaire. One day I just searched "how do I become a millionaire" in Google. Well there was Mr. Sykes with his great theories and his pretty cringey jokes (Timothy if you read this, which probably won't happen, no hard feelings! I actually laughed at the jokes you made). So I did research about him, "Timothy sykes fraude", "Timothy sykes scam",... but I actually think this guy is serious about what he's doing. He should be in my opinion as he probably makes more money if we make more money, it's a win-win people.

What to expect from my blogs?

Well my mind is like a rollercoaster. Right now there are just flowing so many ideas through my head I can't write them all down. So let's say this is kind of a "get to know" me blog. Eventually I hope to be able to inspire you with my personal trading/entrepeneur story. That's why we're here for right? To become succesful. If you don't want it bad enough, someone else will take your spot. For instance, I've been studying today (which is a Saturday), for 7 hours straight, just because I made mistakes the past week which was my first week of trading. I see people making trades and think, why the hell would you do that. But then I just end up doing the same stupid stuff just because I wasn't ready. Some people ignore the fact that they made mistakes but that's not the way you should deal with them. The best lessons come from making mistakes and trying to fix them.

As you see, I kind of jumped from an introduction to a kind of peptalk. Let's say my goal for this blog is to let it be easy to read/understand, to entertain and to motivate but at the same time I will try to give my input on the markets and how I experience my "trading with sykes" journey. So that's it for now. My goal is to post about 2-3 blog posts each week. I hope you will enjoy my skill in motivating people, way of thinking, way of writing and lack of humor.
