@MichaelGoode Can you please let me know how to display the Volume average weighted price on my charts in TWS?

@MichaelGoode Can you please let me know how to display the Volume average weighted price on my charts in TWS?

@MichaelGoode I''m having trouble setting up VWAP study on my chart in TWS. Can you tell me how to get it on there?
You can't get it on a chart at IB TWS. You can get it in your level 1 view just to see the current vwap

[TimAlerts] $GLBS a pump?

[TimAlerts] $DGLY would be a great short right now.
If you don't need level 2, then skip the Nasdaq total view, but if you don't have it with someone else, your going to want it. Even with all he suggests it just comes out to like $28 which is pretty good considering E*trade charges $99 a month for their pro platform.
And like another was saying, you can open a td ameritrade account and use their free thinkorswim platform which has level 2 and still trade with IB. That said, hopefully you'll be making enough trading to cover the $28 so if you don't want the hassle of making another account just bite the cost.
ok thanks but what do I have more with the level 2
Your gonna have to do some research on it. If you don't know what level 2 is then your not ready to start trading.
Thanks
Day trade limits apply to all small accounts, not just TD. At any rate I like their charting software a lot more than Edtrade they cost the same and they haven't dicked me on any executions yet.
Depends on what you're trading. I trade options and got them to switch me from the high $9.99 base rate to $1.50 per options trade. Life is good. Customer service has been good to me too.
I also do my banking and have an IRA account with them. I really like their Trade Architect platform. It's way easier than their ThinkOrSwim platform, which is also good.

[TimAlerts] Yeah TD won't even let you short paper trading on $SPEX

[TimAlerts] $SPEX going way down

@DCAllen just became a fully transparent trader today!
Unfortunately you can't
there is something on the chart they call VWAP but it isn't the full-day VWAP that I use (and that you can view in a level 1 view on TWS)
Yeah, I see that they have VWAP however it goes on continuously throughout the past price action unlike other regular VWAP
