I had the most terrible losses ever today. I knew I shouldn't have traded today..... I did not want to trade today..... but I keep making stupid mistakes. I didn't cut my losses as I should have, and I didn't even trade the right chart patterns.... What a horrible day today!

Whatever you do next Sam, resist the urge to try and go big to recoup those losses quickly. Perhaps trade smaller sizes than the 800 share size plays you did with your APT trades too. Looking at my results, you'll see I'm no expert, but I've picked up a little experience along the way so far. All the best.
You are not alone. I do to make some mistakes along the way. This is my second year trading and I'm still make some mistakes but slowly improving trade by trade. Keep doing what you're doing. If something doesn't work change your strategy. My goals is to make 5%-10% or more if the set up is right. Keep going you're doing okay.
