When you have an earnings winner, you have a gap up the next day, buy in at the lowest price during pre-market and wait for the open bell 15min b/o then sell your position. I tend to wait for higher highs before I exit a trade. I sold too late and incur a loss of .05/shr. I should have exited @ 4.20 and have a profit of .15/shr. I am improving but still have a ways to go on my journey. Got to get the basics down first and trade like a sniper.

I'm still holding my position. The support looks pretty strong, and the company's future is looking more positive than negative. Yes, the price spiked at 4.20 but that doesn't mean it won't go higher. There's past resistance around that area. The stock was on an uptrend before the earnings call. So I feel like it's safe to hold overnight.
I guess it depends on what your goals are. I like to go for short-term spikes. However, if I see enough potential, I try to be flexible and hold.
every time i try that approach the bell open always plumets from premarket. i cant ever trade premarket.
