Ah, man... I've really messed up. I know that you'd probably rather read me saying how I absolutely nailed these plays but that couldn't be further from the truth. I started out today with two day trades. I was watching $ADOM, $PMCB, and $INTEQ this morning for the classic Sykes Morning Panic. All of them had nice panics. That's where the good news ends. I ended up focusing on $ADOM and $PMCB because they had the hardest sell-offs. I entered $ADOM at .18 and got immediately shook out. I'm not sure why I got shook out after it was down so little. It had already gotten up from .155 so that was part of my reasoning. I thought the quick little bounce had already happened. I should've known, with that hard of a sell-off, the stock would spike further. When I got shook out, I was panicking pretty bad so I used a market order and got COMPLETELY murdered. Filled me at .169 and my $20 loss turned into a $130 loss. I should've stuck with it because it ended up getting to .21. I know I shouldn't use market orders but I couldn't help it. My next trade was on $PMCB. I entered at .0268 thinking that was the bottom. It wasn't and I ended up holding thinking that it would get back to .026 at least. The actual bottom was at .0214 and it actually ended up getting back up to .026 but I couldn't get my damn order executed. I got filled .024ish. A $230 loss. With the DOW being down so much, I shouldn't expect such large bounces and understand that I need to be more cautious.
