I was to early on my dip buy but I was on the right track. I really feel like I'm starting to see solid set ups I just need to improve me execution and my exits and entries!
Goal was to hold overnight. Poor execution on my part at least I was on the right track. This trade was a scratch for me when it should have been a couple hundred profit. Im starting to see these patterns more and more clearly!
January effect is over at this point. I bought this on a pull back anticipating a spike. Need to cut losses way quicker. A 30$ loss turned into a 130$ loss... I haven't been bale to find many great plays in the market. Really need to focus on protecting my downside then focus on the upside. Im going to start taking smaller positions and play very, very, very safe in this market. Overall not happy with this trade. I need to figure out what works for me and what doesn't.
My original plan was to hold overnight but I missed my entry. Took my profits and played it overly safe. Next time ill stick to my plan and profit from the morning spike.
Biggest loss so far. No more trading mid day for me, I always get burnt. Mornings and P/H for me from now on. PTCO was a blatant pump. Made the mistake of thinking it could bounce again.
Missed my entry so I took my profits. I was going to hold overnight but because I missed my entry I had to stick to my plan of taking my profits. Not the greatest trade but I learned a lesson.
Went from a small gain to a loss. Could only sell 400 shares got stuck with 100. $3.15 loss plus commissions. Learned a valuable lesson from this trade. I Need to start taking profits sooner. Hopefully next week I will have some better trades. Back to studying!
Another loss. Should have listened to Tim when he said to to chase DELT. Cut losses as quick as possible. Been on a loosing streak. I have not been trading well. But Im learning everyday which is good.
This was a horrible trade all the way around. I traded just to trade which was a mistake that I will not make again. This was the worst trade I have had so far. Learned not to make stupid trades like this again. Wait for the best plays!!!
