NASDAQ:OKSB was quoted higher on Thursday on acquisition news. By the end of the day it went up from mid-day's lows, so I assume that it will go up more on Friday (Dec 16th 2016), so it's a potential buy for Friday. http://www.benzinga.com/pressreleases/16/12/g8807168/simmons-first-national-corporation-announces-agreement-to-acquire-south
NYSE:PIR is an earnings winner on Wednesday and spiked on Wednesday after-hours, also spiked on Thursday and held market-close price during after-hours, so if it goes up a little during pre-market on Friday it will be a potential buy right after market opening. https://www.google.com/finance?q=NYSE%3APIR&ei=Z4dTWNnWH9XYjAGnkZ-IDg
NASDAQ:ESEA acquired something and grew almost 80% during the day, didn't fall much during the day and went up 4% more during after-hours. So if it will not fall during pre-market, it'll be a potential buy during market session on Friday. https://www.google.com/finance?q=NASDAQ%3AESEA&ei=PIhTWJmSIYeu2AaDyayACQ
NASDAQ:BOSC looks like a "pump and dump" - it goes higher and higher each day and for the 2rd day in a row it falls from the morning highs. So it's a potential short for Friday's early morning. https://www.google.com/finance?q=NASDAQ%3ABOSC&ei=g4pTWLifJ9H82AaPx5m4CA We'll see how it'll behave during pre-market session.
NASDAQ:DCIX is growing like crazy all day long (88%) and after-hours also (8%). The same is going on with another company of the "dry ships" industry - NASDAQ:ESEA . It +80% during the day and 4% after-hours. I'm afraid that it's gonna be the same 2-day big spike and big fall after that. So they both can spike again tomorrow, but for a short period of time (several hours or so), after that I'd short it. Many dry-ship-related stocks were up today significantly: http://finance.yahoo.com/gainers Actually, most of biggest gainers today (DCIX, DRYS, GLBS and others) were from that industry!
NASDAQ:VCEL (Vericel Corporation) announces proposed public offering of common stock as said in article http://www.reuters.com/article/idUSASC09NU9 dated December 16th 2016 6:26 pm . I'll wait for the publishing of the target price of the offering. Usually after price is published, the stock price quickly moves to this value. So, wait for the news about the price of the offering.
