Hi Everyone,
I figured doing a blog post like this where everyone gets to have a little insight and opinion on a certain stock doing well would be neat. So this time, it's PTIE.
So from the looks of it, to me, PTIE shot up today on what I think would be considered not much of news. There is, however, a conference call that is supposed to happen at 10am eastern time that will "provide a strategic update regarding its business, its science and its pipeline".
I find it a little odd that the call would be at such a weird time like that especially considering the market will already be up and kicking that morning. Another flag that raises for me is the conference call in general. I've seen Tim mention several stocks several times that had conference calls the next day or early morning that usually cause that share price to take a nose dive. He even warns about it to his subscribers and is usually right about it.
Seeing as how he is my mentor, I obviously am leaning toward those thoughts and comments of his from past experiences. To me, really, at this point it's just a waiting game to see how things go.
So there is my two cents on it. How do you all feel? I'd love to see some good chatter on this.
Thanks for the post. I am long this stock bought in today early so I am sitting nice. My strategy is to see how premarket plays out. One on hand I think, why would a company call their own conference call to deliver bad news. So it's gotta be positive, right? Question is how good is the news. I feel like whenever companies do this and don't drop explosive news the stock drops. So I will likely sell during or after the call depending on the news and price action. I think it will run up further in
