@TheOutsiderTrader for example... (this is when i had an account less than $25,000) i have an etrade account. when i didnt have a margin account and i opened and closed the trade i was in, my funds that i used for that trade were not there and they would not show back up til 2 trading days later.. but now that i have a margin account i can enter and exit a trade and my funds will still be accessible!
