On Tuesday, 12-29-2020 I had entered CELZ somewhere around midday after already running approx 500% from sub-penny into the .01s. I had a small position and entered in at .0175 to my surprise the stock kept running, and running, and running all the way into the .03s at close. I had numerous opportunities to exit the position for a great % gain.
When the market closed my unrealized gains were up in the 70%. Not wanting to waste a day trade I decided to swing it over night, something I have been doing a lot lately with these OTC mid day/PH runners. Well this week I'm on 12HR overnight 6pm-6am CDT shifts, and usually I have no problems staying awake until market open to exit my o/n swing positions.
I bet you know where this story is going now huh? I got home around 7am CDT and did my normal research/watchlist routine, browsing around the market, news, checking out the big % gainers etc. My mistake? Laying down 20 minutes before the market open. Yup thats right the classic "I'm just gonna close my eyes for a couple minutes." Well a couple minutes turned into a few hours.
I woke up to my phone ringing just before noon and the first thing that came into my head and out of my mouth was "oh shit, oh shit, oh shit." I quickly logged on to my etrade account only to find out that CELZ had dropped from the .03s down to .019.
So upset with myself for letting that happen I immediately exited the position. The morale of the story folks. Don't get greedy, take profits, listen to Tim when he says take singles, don't go for home runs. You really don't know what can happen. The market is humbling and I believe that this happened to me for a reason. The market gods are teaching me a lesson that I vainly ignored, a lesson that Tim tries to pound into our heads.
SINGLES ADD UP! CUT LOSSES QUICKLY! THE MARKET WILL HUMBLE YOU!
Now how many burpees should I do?

Haha! Love it! Dude I can't tell you how many times my dumb ass has done this. It took a HUGE loss to "wake" my ass up. This read made me LOL a few times, but in a relatable way my friend. Good lessons learned for sure. Best part about it, there's always next week! Let's GO
