This is a rough day as I came to the realization two days too late, that RAS was never making a comeback any time soon. I tried to make a quick profit but didn't cut my losses quickly. I tried watching Tim's lesson on RAS but was having issues with the playback and jumped in. I made small profits on several other trades while this one took all of my earnings..literally, I lost all of them on one stupid trade. In the meantime, I practiced much better habits on my other trades.
First lesson and always the number one rule: Cut your losses quickly and don't end up like me.
Second lesson: Don't follow alerts blindly. Either you should have been watching it to begin with and had an idea about it, or you should have researched it thoroughly enough to be comfortable with trading it.
Third lesson: No single trade, is worth risking all of your profits. The point is to make more than you lose. Take small wins and build until you can take bigger wins. And take smaller losses than your standard win so you're always making more.
I'm going to keep it much more simple from here on out and continue with the stocks I have gotten to be comfortable with.
My losses may have sucked today, but the lessons were on point.
Happy Trading!

You learned three crucial lessons! So you could say it was worth just as much as those small gains that were lost.
