Off to practice trading On Demand. Then I'm off to read "Pit Bull" by Martin "Buzzy" Schwartz. Good luck to you all in the market:))
Some plays of the day down below
$CERU was spiking in the P/M. Caught it with my scanners and looked to go long depending on the price action. I missed this perfect dip buy opportunity off of the 200SMA because I was looking at $HTBX. Then, the first pull back/bull flag was wayyy too quick, so getting filled there was impossible! But all in all great lesson!
$HTBX (sorry for the typo) Saw this spiking pre-market and was looking to dip buy but saw that it was not spiking and as soon as I saw that it could not retrace above the 9EMA (after it crossed the 20EMA) I figured it was time to consider to short. In hindsight i'm glad I did not. Sure it did come down but I feel like I got lucky with this. Honestly I should have waited until after it broke the 200SMA first to short. Then see if It could go back over. Shorting there would have given a better SSS total but oh well you live and learn. Still It could have executed. It would have been a quick $80 bucks (after fees.)
$CERU became a quick potential short after it double topped. I honestly think shorting runner at a double top is suicide because you can never tell whether it is a double top until it is and you risk a huuuge risk if you try to anticipate one. I think the best time to enter was after the initial failed bounce attempt. Covering around the mid/low 2s would have been ideal. Great lesson.
God bless you all,
Angel
