This was a GREAT trade with lots of patience and not too much risk tolerance. Bought this stock just under year highs and had to wait through 3 solid days of failure to break out with any real momentum. Today I wake up to find a gap-up, insta-sold and took my gains. Great, great win.

This is the other energy stock I lost on that if I'd held longer I could have won on. I was right about the trend, just wrong about the timing. But right and wrong doesn't matter, only winning and losing.

Tough break for me on this trade, I have been meaning to post it for a while now. I doubled my position sizes today and lost on two stocks that I didn't want to tolerate much risk on. I blame it on market volatility from the presidential election (they were both energy stocks). The trend started to look unlikely, so I cut my loss. Simple as that.

Pretty good-sized win off of the bounce play. Stock is way oversold and I'd hoped to pull more out of it but profits are profits. I almost stayed in this one to try to get more like 10% but didn't want to be too greedy. Take wins, avoid losses.

Trade took lots of patience. Still got impatient with the exit toward the end, but selling at all-time highs is rarely a bad thing. Probably not a lot of energy left in this stock at this point, so this is a very satisfactory trade.

This trade was a while ago and I'm just now getting around to posting it. Always look at a stock's history, because it often will repeat itself. I ignored the tendency of this stock to spike one day and crash the next, got stopped out. Fortunately I had a stop in place!

Great swing trade, 1.5% of risk with 4-6% of upside. Scaling went about as well as could be expected given the circumstances, I managed to sell a majority of my position near HOD so I'm content.

Low-risk trade, but didn't have the upside potential that I had hoped. Got stopped out at all-time lows for the stock, which was a deal breaker for my strategy.

Great trade. Low risk overnight hold into new yearly highs. Could have been a lot more greedy with this one overall, but 6% is 6% and I'm satisfied with reliable profits. Not going for home runs here. Steady growth is the goal.
