Here is a summary of my results after the first half of the month and July as well.

 

August

Trades: 10

Winners: 9

Losers: 1

Avg. Gain: 20.64%

Avg. Loss: 18.18% (went in with about 1/3 of my usual position)

 

July

Trades: 10 (lots of travelling, not much time to sit and trade some days)

Winners: 8

Losers: 2

Avg. Gain: 16.16%

Avg. Loss: 10.91% (hit a 49.23% loss with 1/3 my usual size as it was not a good setup)

 

Journaling ALL your trades and maintaining detailed statistics will only help you see what you are doing right and what you are doing wrong, which will in turn speed up your growth.

 

Now I am off to rescuing a cat with the wife :)
