10-29-18 Trading journal

I got up early this morning to trade. We are in the middle of a big painting project in our home so I have been really busy helping my wife with that and have not been focused on studying like I should be.

I scanned the biggest % gainers this morning and took a shot at a dip buy opportunity after SOLO hit a high of 7.40 it dropped hard down to 5.00 I bought at 5.02 and was risking 4.80 and looking at a reward of 5.50 or 6.00.  I added to my position at 4.80.   The stock volume dropped off and it got week, I had to go to work at 7 so I sold for a loss at 4.70.  After reviewing the chart for the day I am glad I got out, it did nothing the rest of the day. The stock market ended up down 250 points at the end of the day. It was up 300 points at 7 this morning. Not looking so good.

I am very stressed and busy with our home painting project so it is best I don’t trade.  But I will get up early, study and watch the market.
