In reflection over the past year where I began as a trading student with no idea of what I was doing in day trading, I'm happy to say I closed this month with +$3000 in profits. Last year I didn't follow rules in the beginning and started trading real money right when I started. Oh what a mistake I didn't cut losses early and I was chasing price action buying when volume slowed at the hod day and getting burned. I didn't know the trends of stocks throughout the day. I was a complete novice. Slowly but surely I studied my DVDs watched the live webinars and paper traded, and that was after 4 months of not trading due to having an infant to take care of throughout the day. Once September 2015 rolled around and my daughter was in daycare I was in full blown study mode. I made it my job to learn daily. I watched the open, made my watch lists and began to see trends. By November I began trading with some knowledge and real money again. I stumbled and didn't cut losses like I should have but got my feet wet again. Each month since Ive gotten better. I'm so proud to say I'm really making profits and I love being a stay at home mom and trading part time in the mornings to make my income.
For all those just beginning in this journey : Start with the rules and studying. Take it seriously. If you really want to change your life and your job take action each day. Your actions will change your future one day at a time. If you want it and put in the work you WILL get there.
I'm no expert by any means still learning and adapting each day. The best part I have found is the positive support of individuals online taking their trading seriously. I'm always willing to help in anyway I can give back.
Don't give up just study harder.
You should teach a thing or two to my future GF , ahahah , keep it going!
Jane, what are you using for papertrading?
Keep up the good work @AirplaneJane I just joined yesterday. Hopefully will follow in your footsteps :)
