Looking for feedback. I have been watching Videos on youtube since mid September after googling pennystocks. Got HTMM about a week ago and am on the 5th DVD. I put $1000 in an Etrade account about 1 week before they notified of the upcoming free trades. TODAY I just made my 1st Day trade. I have picked up about 6 stocks that I am going long with and just to have skin in the game to get a feel for having stock. I nearly had a heart attack just after putting money into the Etrade account so it has been nice just getting the feeling of having stocks.
BUT TODAY WAS THE DAY and I would love critique or feedback on my first actual day trade. I had ITMC on my watchlist after running scans and seeing daily vids or posts and checking news yesterday. Somewhere between 12 and 12:30 while I was working I looked at my phone and noticed the price had dropped down around .45 after starting the day at .80. I pulled up the ticker and noticed it seemed to be stalling out. I quickly looked at the history and it looked like there had been resistance/support in this area in the past 6 months. So I decided to try my first active day trade with a Dip Buy. I put in for 100 for .45 and within a minute or so it filled at .44. I started checking it every few minutes now and within 30 it went up to almost 60. I put in a Sell for .615 thinking it might push again. But I noticed it was stalling with a Bid at .57 and a sell offer at .5999. Hearing #timsykes in my head saying go with the meat of the move I changed my sell to .595 and within a minute or so it filled at .5975.
IT WAS A GOOD DAY. I am very happy and it felt great but I would love to know if this seemed risky. When I look at it I felt like it was a solid play after the hours and hours of videos I have been watching but would love feedback from pretty much anyone since my XP is very small.
Thanks you Tim Sykes and team for the knowledge I am gaining.
I'm new as well to trading and I'm going to say this, any time you make money instead of losing money you've done it right. You may not have made a bunch of money on your first trade but it's not about the money the first time it's about the experience understanding and knowledge of the trade.
