Hello again,

Right after my last blog post, another question occurred to me so I had to ask it real quick:

How do you all study trading?

What I've done so far is, after market close, I'll review every percent gainer (and some of the lower percent losers) and check for:

1. breakouts above multimonth resistance

2. Pressing on intraday resistance (I find stocks that are pressing against but don't actually break intraday resistance tend to have morning spikes the next day)

3. Bounces off of lows that I could capitalize on.

4. Any stock that has unusual volume.

This is essentially how I make my watchlists as well. 

After that, I go on profitly and see how other people (specifically, profitable traders) traded that day...what patterns they were looking for, their entry and exit points, their watchlists, etc etc. I also post on my own blog if there's anything I feel the need to post.

After that, I get into the hardcore studying: I'm currently on video 3 of Tim's HTMM DVD, and have Timfundamentals and Pennystocking part Deux ready to go once I'm finished with that. I write down my notes in word and have a document for each video. Also, if a note I take is especially important I write the exact time during the video I took it so I can go back to that spot and listen to what Tim was saying again.

Then, before I go to bed, I check my broker one more time & see if there were any big after-hours movers...I do this once at 6 PM EST and right before 8 PM EST as well.

Then, I read some of "Trading in the zone" by Mark Douglas and/or look at pictures of stock patterns to further memorize them. Then I go to sleep, get up, trade, rinse and repeat.
