I saw CETI but I felt like it was a chase. I saw the alert Pre Market but I am new to STT breaking news and still unsure of which PM news are the best.

I almost bought it at $1.00 and thought I was going to be chasing so Yes, I thought you were chasing.

good lesson. I missed it. If your buy was at 09:46 or 09:47 , I wouldn't consider that chasing....right before and right after, I would consider chasing it as it was running Vs buying at an area of consolidation or better yet, a dip/pullback. That is my understanding of 'chasing'.

Missed it in STT at 8:45am when they alerted it, then at the open was occupied with UCPA panic and KAVL breakout above $3 this morning. Stupidly didn't have my eye on top % gainers near the open. Didn't see it till you traded it, but wasn't comfortable jumping in at that point.

Lessons Learned: (Learning Patterns) Must have a thesis to trade; Focus on the Price Action( and on how it moves); in a Trade, Look for Supporting facts (to keep you in) or ways it's going to GET OUT!

I don't think you were chasing. It pulled back slightly then made a new high. Thank you for the reminder it is ok to just take a small position. I do have breaking news and I will pay more attention to the OTC alerts.

It was my top watch from stt breaking news, i was busy with UCPA first. then seen CETI had an order in at .86 on the dip but cancelled it because i thought i was chasing. My reasoning was that we just haven't seen many runners like this lately. Then i dip bought it of its highs for a small gain. Thanks Tim

I felt it was a chase.... But I am just learning about OTC stocks and the way the price works there. My personal experience with this was on Oct 21, 2021 when I first saw DWAC at 36.00 and I felt it was too late

And HUGE THANKS !!! for reinforcing small steps, small gains, missed trades and just conceptualizing the process and getting better feel for the way the markets work

I would ask you at today’s webinar about what encouraged you to enter on that stock seeing it already up so much (although considering the overall market, news, time of the day, past but in that case experience with same sort of situation… etc) … you then answered where position size is key to build you experience. So if not sure take a small position and that is what you did in addition that the others variables were in line too. Many thanks for the video!

I struggle with runners like this and for me the first buy would be a chase. I felt more comfortable with your second and third trades on them. When a stock moves so far I can't find a support level I'm comfortable buying and when I do this I tend to lose. Its something I will keep studying and try to learn from.

I saw CETI, and I was at my job. It's good to know I was on the right track.

I saw it on STT breaking news but didn't have volume so stopped watching it. But like the idea of taking a smaller position when volume is light.

When I saw it, it was already in the 1.60’s, down from the high 1.70’s, figured it ran its course and was heading back down, and I didn’t want to chase. Getting in early would’ve been awesome! Congrats to those who did!

Was ready to take a position at $1.01 on CETI after seeing the news, since it was already up from 0.36 and the volume wasn't that great I convinced myself that it would be chasing. I have seen this type of price action before on tech news and I knew a small position would be ok. Next time I need to just take a small position and cut losses quickly if it turns. There were a few nice little dips all the way up for a opportunity to get in.

I watched CETI, i thought it was a bit of a chase at $1 but the risk was cutting quick if $1 failed, so not a bad trade just something that requires quick exit when its not working, great video lesson

Watching in late Sep. 2023...so I missed CETI (lol). Great lesson on the right mentality. I want to study every play and learn something new from every win, loss, and miss. I will study the past to master price action so I can judge if I am chasing or if it has legs to run more.
