IMO I think that if a stock is blatantly not doing what I want it to do I will cut losses quick. But if it shows good signs of strength, price action, or support then I look to cut losses intelligently to give the set-up time to playout.

Cutting losses quickly at this stage of my journey is best. I have added to a trade with benefits in the past and also lost more by holding too long. If a stock doesn't prove itself in 10 minutes, it probably will not pan out well. However, as I learn, I may bend this rule.

There are so many nuances! I understand the difference between these 2 and the risk levels associated with them, with LMPX being over extended and $SSI being over sold therefore with less risk. Totally get it. But still, in theory is one thing, in practice, it's so hard. I'm trying really hard every day to play perfectly, meaning, sticking with the process. Very hard to become profitable. I guess years of practice will do it.
