I went ahead and set up 2 factor authentication to deal with this. It’s a pain to use and I’ve been locked out because the PIN number generation app got out of sync with my account and I had to call in to get that fixed. But it lets me avoid these problems. I was getting locked out of my account just traveling inside the US. Even just one state over.

LMAO, you have to love your authenticity. It sucks about E-trade and I've seen a few vids of them locking you out. They need to up their game. Good trade.

That sucks Tim, E-TRADE is always holding you back! What about using a VPN at all times and using a USA IP, so no matter where you go Etrade will always think you're in the USA. Problem solved :)

@Keygame MiFi is just a personal WiFi zone, it wont keep him in incognito mode and will continue to show the IP address of that country. If he uses a VPN like Hotspot Shield, then he could be in India and have a set USA IP address. E-trade will always think he is in the USA anywhere he goes in the world.
