wow this whole idea of controlling your emotions and exiting a position when wrong (cutting losses) with your eyes closed is great. Many times you're just watching and waiting for the best exit possible just to reduce the losses and you end up losing even more.

Dux is amazing! For real! Thanks man! You are an inspiration for all of us in the Challenge.

I think the key point of the video is at the end when he says you need to master your emotion. It's one of the hardest things as a trader to do because we are constantly managing our emotion when we enter trades. If done well we can keep a focused clear mind that will be unaffected by fear or some of the other most common feelings. Once mastered we can watch the market from a neutral standpoint and take in all the information without any bias leading us to success and profit. Dux has got it!

Great interview. Great job mastering your emotions Steven! I still struggle with this....I like your idea of closing your eyes to take the loss. Patience...YES! Obviously you take large positions but it's due to the fact that you're extremely confident to take a trade due to patiently waiting for the 'perfect' set up. Dux, congrats man! The take home, its not all about the money, its about winning and being successful in life! If you work hard and put your mind to it, you can and will accomplish your goals. Most people that fit that mold are reserved and modest, luckily for everyone, Tim is not!! I feel privileged to have found TIM's Challenge and such a great group of people.

Patience Dam that is a hard one & then you get into emotions, I am still trying to learn the setups that work for me I am seeing them and learning when the best time to get in and out.. What I learned: Be yourself! Use your own knowledge from your own studies and do not follow others alerts. Start small, gain knowledge and confidence. And above all it is possible with hard work and dedication.

Thank You professor Dux! Your a trading professor to us all!! Congrats on your accomplishments! I learned the most, that 3 patterns work 85% of the time. First red day, huge panics and shorting spikes (with experience). All supernovas don't last 5-6 days, but there is usually one of those patterns that is a good play .Trade small positions to start, don't go to the grocery store! and cut losses quickly!

The ability to realize that you have to be patient to make your way thru the milestones is where it started clicking for me and that occurred after 5 months of FOMO. I was able to answer what my risk was before entering the trade and where I expected it to go and why because I wasn't scared of missing the next big move. What a great interview. Thanks Dux for all of your hard work.

First you learn then you earn! Wait for the perfect setups for you. Make spreadsheets to find out what the perfect setup is for you.

Trading is simple, not easy. The hardest part is mastering yourself/emotions to control your risk management. You need a good strategy, & patience (no FOMO or forcing trades). Be willing to lose a little (start with small positions) to learn & find your niche. Check your ego, no matter how perfect a set-up may be, things can go wrong (have an exit strategy BEFORE you enter a trade), you want breathing room/ reaction buffer in your position for worst case scenario. Excellent interview.

Note to self: the people I will meet, respect them and enjoy this trip. Study until your eyes bleed. Understand your platform. Concentrate on that one stock that fits your bleeding eyes. Market tuition is part of the journey, just minimize it and recoup it. Wait for the set up your bleeding eyes stamped into your brain.

Know what you are good at and focus on the best setups that work for you. Be patient and wait for the set ups to come.
