Also, I have lost 20k (14k realized and 6 k unrealized) from my first 3 months of trading which I started in Oct 2015. Then, I did not trade much for a yr. After, I subscribed tim alerts in Oct 2016 (watched traders checklist and other video), I traded 9 times (lost once) and made $4300 from 8 successful trades including $1111 today. I bought DCIX at wrong time and lost a lot. And my broker Scottrade did not let me to short it. Now I know why don't put all you have into one stock.

@timothysykes I'm confused as to why the shipping companies were not potential dip buys. I rewatched all of your video lessons in the past few weeks when you were dip buying these plays. You said this was not a dip buy as the entire sector was going supernova but the weed stocks did the same thing? Were the weed stocks and pumps potential buys do to them going supernova over a longer time period compared to the shippers and also traded less volume per day? Please get back to me thanks!

@timothysykes Okay so basically it just has to do with how much more these stocks spiked up and how fasted the spiked compared to the other companies. And even tho these are down 40%-70% off their highs they are still up hugely from where they started.

@edgardoruiz93, the most ideal way is to learn n study for at least few months before actually trading. Then papertrade and see, if you got better. And keep studying all u can until u start profiting papertrading. Then, u can switch to real money n bank! But who has the patience to do it this way?!)

@edgardoruiz93 I have only subscribed Tim's alert. So, I have no idea about Silver. Based on the reviews, I think Silver is better, as you would have access to plethora of world class teachings from Tim Sykes. The common mistakes I did in the past were: 1) Trading the Company, not the ticker 2) This led to not cutting losses 3) which led to averaging down and ultimately incurred huge losses.

Yes, go for Tim Alert. I highly recommend. Since I lost 25K from my 42K account in first 3 months last year, I did not trade much. Then, last month I thought why I should not give a try to Timalerts. Since I subscribed it, I regained my lost confidence. I traded 10 times, and lost only once (Loss was just 2%,). Though I try to prepare my own watch-list, I follow chat room and tim alerts, and his videos.

@edgardoruiz93, perhaps in your case, losing real money is the new only thing that will motivate you to stop losing it by studying and start gaining. I suggest watching the same material multiple times, that way your brain gets used to it either. Brai washing can be used for good purposes too! Lol

Awesome day for students riding the shipping sector wave. Now they are crashing from $DRYS getting halted and crashing, losing all of its gains. Don't dip buy these stocks as they just gradually fall down. You want to buy into sheer panic from stop losses going off like pumps crashing. It also depends on the time of day as the best time for panics are in the morning and not midday or afternoon.
