Thanks Tim. Love the education. I noticed you used almost your entire e-trade account on $GRNH. Im curious for your reason because you often say never go all in?

With a small account like that, you almost always want to go in at least 50% because commissions eat up profits if you don't get a huge % gain.

@alverez Because I don't think of my Etrade account as my entire account, I also include my IB account so together they're at $24.5k, this is a small $3k position for my http://tim.ly/prisontim experiment, get it?

@timothysykes that is what I had figured and it makes sense. Thanks for the response!

Thank for the vid Tim, I got GRNH last Monday for .0581 and sold it at .956 today. I was very sure, it was a good idea to hold it for another day or two. But I just took all my profits $700 dollars off 20,000 shares. Thanks for the insight on the 1st big green day indicator.

This GRNH play is a great example for growing a small account...former spiker, hot sector @ the moment, catalyst of anticipated news, huge volume 30M shares traded, piggyback momentum buy into the close...and technical indicators all on GO...thank U for showing us!

Sectors hot buy $GRNH as it's on its first green day and the others are more over-extended.

Focus on percent gainers they can run further ... The 4 green day is usually the last chance for longs before stock drops some .. Don't underestimate former runners if the past history is good .. Keep studying to increase your odds. Wins greater than losses

It is true, that with a smaller account, you risk more (%wise) when trading. However, you offset that risk by being very picky with what you trade. Only enter trades that have overwhelming indicators in your favor, then add classic patterns (pumps, supernova, earnings winner) and you increase your odds. And remember, rule #1 always applies!

Marijuana stocks are getting hyped back up again in anticipation of 4/20. Don't underestimate these stocks as they are former runners and former runners can spike big again since they're so easily remembered. Tim bought the lagging stock of the bunch $GRNH. $TRTC and CANN have already spiked for three days in a row and $GRNH only had one. $GRNH should have more momo than the others as more people jump off $TRTC and CANN to get in $GRNH.

Thanks Tim. When you have the odds on your side you'll win more than you loose and you can grow your account step by step

GRNH was the least over extended, was also the first green day, stock has a history of going supernova, also a low float stock, hence Tim being long biased, always focus on big % gainers and piggy back on momentum, always focus on the first green day!!!! Good lesson Tim thanks....
