Tim, I joined and signed up with the recommended broker (in Jamaica) but they are unable to short anything (not much different than my Broker Questrade in Canada). One danger I've heard about concerning shorting stocks is about the unlimited upside if a price spikes and the investor is unable to cover soon enough so not to get trapped in the upswing of a trade. Discuss this with the chat room if you would please. Doing our in depth research should keep us out of danger.... but markets are unpredictable!!
