I had an interesting day today filled with rejected orders...still gotta call Etrade and IB to figure that out, but I chose the perfect stock overnight it seems:

Good stuff. Tim.i was in and out before your alert for a nice profit. I wish I would've held from 1.30ish I was out near 1.50
love that you're doing this tim ... thanks for another great video!
Awesome post! Looking to capitalize on my 500 shares. Thank You!
Good video. Understood how you found the trade. Just wish I was as meticulous as you were finding $RBCN.
Thanks for this! I had my finger on the trigger when you made the buy alert for RBCN, but because I wasn't self-sufficient on it, I decided not to buy. Even though it's up a ton I'm still glad I didn't buy- so I can put more emphasis on WHY you bought than the fact that you bought. :)
tim i have a 3000$ IB account and am not allowd to short as well what can i do ??
so glad for this lesson
Note: Always look at stock that are closing strong. thx
Thanks Tim. Soooo many times I'll run a scan and tickers like this don't show up until an hour or so after the open and I am focused elsewhere so I'm pretty much done scanning. However, even those missed early morning spikers that hold their positive 'post morning spike' range need to be monitored for these late breakouts. This actually showed up for me about 2 hours after the open but I didn't look at the daily chart to notice the potential breakout. Now noted for for next time!
Exciting and insightful. Going to be a great year to learn from the Sykes-ster.
Thanks for the video lesson! Awesome stuff!
Nice one Tim! I'll be starting my small account of $1000 on the 7th so it's great to see you trade from my stand point!
Great Video!
Just started on Profit.ly, used a paper account to test these strategies... up over $700 in one day. I am in!
Very good stuff man. Question, if you did not have problems with Etrade today. How many shares of LEI were you looking to get short? Thanks.
Great find! Is January Effect just for the first few days of trading in January? Just curious
Good luck calling IB support lol. The struggles of trading with a small account! It sucks, so many issues.
@timothysykes I had the same error from etrade with my 2K account.. that's crazy! I couldn't trade at all.
Great stuff :)
Excellent. Thank you.
The trick with IB is to send them an email.
Can anyone take off the day trading rule on etrade?
watched and learning. Tim, I can't tell you how much I learned from watching this trade.
@timothysykes under the PDT rules, if you have $25K total in two accounts do you still fall under this ruling? Or does it all need to be in one account to be excluded from the PDT?
Great lesson, thanks Tim

Very nice trade, enter trades that have odds stacked in your favor!
Thanks Tim. Look to buy stocks that are closing strong into the close for overnight.
