I was going to buy it at $4, but after the side ways action. I didn't think it would go any further. I actually would have been chasing it. As I watched it go up and up, I just watched and felt like I would have been chasing.

Opened margin account at etrade after finished watching 6hrs Pennystocking DVD over chrismas holidays. Thanks to Tim's alert my first 2 attempts on shorting RWLK and EARS left unscathed from bounce. My third short INVT finally made profit from $2.08 to $1.60 holding for next monday.

I made a quick and safe $1000 trade off of $LEI, could've gone long and banked $5000+ but oh well. I finally got funds just in time for Trading Tickers!

Man, I just love hearing how people make 500% on a trade from blindly following chatroom talk, meanwhile I try to stay disciplined, and make a detailed plan when trading, and get shit for my hard work.

@communist_owl Bad communist_owl :(( No bueno for sure. Go to you tube and listen to the audio book of the secret of the law of attraction. We have all felt cynical, but those who really care will NOT let you be mad. Schiße, I haven't made a decent 1k profit in 6 months even though I make solid calls each week. Being mad or bitter gets US nooooooo where. Transfere that energy into determination & allow yourself to be really truly happy for those ppl banking where you lost out. The Force.

P.S. How we even know if ppl are true with their *gains* unless they verify? Like in z Matrix, reality can mean a bunch of things depending on who is controlling z brain, right? So let that be us. Half these ppl that claim " Made $1500 today - so easy a caveman can do it " lol don't even verify. What IF, what if they are just entities to throw others off? Just saying. Let's not throw ourselves off-K? ;))

@bank_a_tronic Thank you for the change of reality. I know getting angry doesn't help, but it's SO hard sometimes. I made a whole "thesis" on my trade today based on news, technical analysis, what goal % I had..and not one of my picks moved. Meanwhile, gunslingers are buying a stock b/c a chatroom said too. I didn't buy b/c I didn't know anything about the stock. I know what you're saying though, thank you. Any other traders out there who can relate?

Thanks Tim. It's going to be interesting to 'see' you trade with a smaller account and be under the PDT rule. I think this will be an excellent teaching tool for all if us to watch. When limited to 3 trades per a 5 day market period do you save those trades for the best set-up per what you see at the time or do you get on board with what is moving? Dip buy an earnings winner? Which trades to pass on due to 1 or 2 trades remaining? Great model for all of us to see play out!

communist_owl All of that hard work pays off when you can quickly assess a Ticker by its chart, price action, volume, momentum, and news and whether to jump for "the meat of the move"...it comes together for you!

Honestly, it's about your attitude first, then your desire, then your ability to push hard, then your battleplan. Which plays you going to act upon? This includes specific entry & exit points. Select wisely & if its a mention in chat you'd better do your DD & be sure it fits a pattern from your battleplan, if not just watch it & find out why it did what it did. Make a journal & include notes on daily & intraday price-action, vol, lvl 2, maybe RSI for dip buy plays, or MA's for breakouts. FWIW

Great way to end the year! I remember contemplating chasing $LEI after seeing everyone profiting in the chat room. Glad I didn't as I probably would have profited and enforced a bad habit. Study, discipline, and patience is the only path to success.
