I'm sure a lot of people were bummed out to miss this trade, including myself. We just gotta put it out of our minds, but keep it on radar for future plays. Meanwhile, this guy gets to leave work early and race home to watch HTMM!!!
Good education I feel like a weight is lifted
I thought my machine was stuck Blatant Blatant Blatant. I was about to reboot my computer. Thanks for the lesson.
good stuff here Tim, miss a trade ,dont Change , trade the Patterns. timing is Key, in this Game
Tim, how blatant of a pump is $PTRA
"Even if you miss your execution or mess up the trade and sell too soon, being on the right track is a big part of being successful trader". These are very encouraging words after I psyched myself out today from my friday afternoon dip buy of earnings winner $TNDM before it ended up spiking over $1.00 per share just a few minutes after I sold. Been kicking myself all day but at least it was self sufficient enough on friday to recognize its an earnings winner and dip buy it. thanks tim.
Great lesson. I'm confused sometimes Tim on how you sometimes say "Buy breakout on EW" But then sometimes you say "Wait for the bounce before you get in to make sure its a b/o". I just was hoping you can differentiate when to do one or the other? Just wondering. Thanks! @timothysykes
@Bustos87 wait for it to breakout and then buy into the first pullback https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UhyD3xOmbbQ

thank you Tim :)
i need mobile trading so i can trade from work!!!! :))
That's one of the tricky things about trading, you must stay looking forward! Looking back too long will make you salty. Good video.
Thanks Tim.
The main key take away from this lesson is understanding the difference between what is a good short and what is a good long, for example an earnings winner after it dips can still have a nice run days sometimes weeks after initial move and you must understand that the move can go alot further than you would ever expect, making it a very risky trade Tim has repeated in challenge lessons before "do not short earnings winners" for 10 minutes straight not kidding!. instead
-continued- instead shorting bread and butter patterns near the end phase of the patterns, and sticking to dip buying strong stocks near technical support with good catalyst. Always cutting losses quickly and collecting profits along the way this is what will grow your account exponentially over Time. Also understanding not to chase any move either direction, when you chase you already began incorrectly.
Learned to watch the patterns, don't chase if you miss the execution, there will always be another play if you miss the current one..
watched and learning!
Cool video
Thank you!
thanks tim
Thanks Tim!
great video
Don't get frustrated and upset if you miss out. Be happy if you were on the right track.
When you miss your execution don't play the chasing game. These stocks move fast on the way up and down. The moment you try to chase is when everyone else is most of the time and ends up being the exact top.
