URGENT: FINAL 24 HOURS on these 50% off sales on DVDs HERE and newsletters HERE and my buddy James' new newsletter has a 6-month risk-free trial for only the next few days too, I'm personally buying it and think you should too
PLEASE watch Friday's video lesson HERE and yesterday's video lesson too...the more you study the better you'll do in trading (and in life), preparation is KEY!
Losses are NEVER fun, especially big ones, but my top student Tim G. has not only blessed us with sharing the details of his biggest losses (the latest reminder why you NEED to watch his DVD here that's 45% off for just a few hours more), whether he recognize it or not, his big mistakes keep getting smaller (last time was lost $200k+), especially as a % of his overall trading accounts/net worth...he just made this GREAT video lesson yesterday, please watch it and learn from it...remember to read ALL my watch lists as I warned CANF might be a Friday squeezer HERE so while I also shorted, I was VERY cautious and actually came out profitable (not to mention CANF just did a questionable financing over the weekend so it'll tank Monday, congrats to weekend shorts!)
Sorry about the loss, but thanks the honest, timely dissection of the loss. The nearly real-time updates are great learning tools. Thanks and have a nice weekend.
Thanks , i can see myself been there, i feel like at bigining of trading, forcing it , great attitude. Amazing . when the market is angry to go one way, i call respect.
Great lesson, even though I haven't started trading yet, this is definitely a great lesson for me personally. Thanks T.G for sharing
sorry about Tim, but this was a great lesson. I'm glad to be a subscriber.
try looking at the 5min and 30min charts to see the bigger picture once in awhile
I can definitely feel it. I used to fight it too. I feel better now for cutting losses early.
I have noticed ( with the utmost respect) you seem to get stubbon on the shorts where there was a big news item. These two losses for example were from biotech stocks while LAKE was from EBOLA insanity, so being aware of the insanity of the crowd may help. In the end you are probably the best trader in the world.... and your dvd is just amazing..... keep earning millions!!!
Nice video lesson! I'm stubborn with stops/risk too, especially with knowing its just when it will crack. I wish every broker had that option for auto cut. Thanks for sharing and being more transparent than 99%
thus sayeth sir jim of cramer do not fall in love with a stock
Thanks for the lesson
Summary 1. Do not try to make up for a lost 2. Do not fight agains the stock 3. Do not look for reasons to be right Great video, but it makes me doubt of the strategy we are implementing. Tim G seems to be tacking the charts patterns to find a correlation in the price action. While we seems to be taking action based on the price action and fundamentals.
Great video lesson. Reminds me of how trading so much more of an art than a science. Admit when you're wrong and move on to the next one.
As a newbie, I am taking all the webinars to heart. First i will run with you on IB Paper Trade (don't laugh), until i get more experience. Thank you all for showing your daily trade experience. :)
thanks for sharing tim. What would it take for you to join tim sykes and mark crook to join them and do regular video lessons?
Awesome lesson!! Thanks for explaining it to us!
That was a harsh loss TG this us a good lesson for me to learn, study and to remember.
Yes Tim, Sorry about the loss, but thanks the honest, great lesson.
Big thanks to Tim G helps to see others dealing with these issues
This stock also took some profits on friday and got scare biased on this stocks movement, and i saw it afternoon crack without me also, being on suretrader, first day crack - easy to borrow shares, but today monday will be crashing and no more shares to short, lost op on friday afternoon for being scared to, must work on it!!! TKS TIm G. awesome reviews on trades.
I can say that I've been there even though I'm just a newbie trader learning and stumbling. Sorry for your losses, Tim G.. I think this will be your stepping stone into becoming a more successful trader. Best.
Rule of Life: Lessons tend to be repeated until learned. Life is a demanding mistress that way.
Was great to hear his mindset and how the day played out.Props for the video lesson.
Thank you for the valuable lesson.
Brave of you to admit these defeats to us. I give you high respect. Thanks for sharing this. It makes it so real for us students to learn from. thank you so much. I'll be wishing for the best for you, you will recover!
This is great lesson, so many of win lessons , but that's where you definitely learn. THANK you Tim G. U r the man , have to have balls to show losses!
really good video took a hell of a lot from this thanks for sharing
Excellent lesson they make for very good lessons, we are very fortunate to be able to learn from others with the tools at hand here in Profit.ly. In this example Grittani goes over a loss his thought process and how you identify the root cause, it is very important to note how he identified and the thoughts on what should have been done what will you do better and then make a plan on fixing it, We all make mistakes the Key is to Learn from them and keep on Walking (sun)
watched and learning!
gotta close the eyes and cut the losers fast
GOLD!
Great lesson
yes these horror stories do help prevent me from getting stubborn, thanks Tims
THANK YOU learned ton of it!
Yup, don't fight stocks. Get out and live to trade another day.
Such a great recap. Thanks for sharing Tim! IMO the best part is when he says it's worth it to cut a loss even if it comes back to breakeven or a profit because it'll help prevent a loss like this in the future.
Thanks Tim for the good lessons on a big loss. It is always a huge help to have traders that will share what they did wrong so everyone can learn. Like how you said you knew you were fighting the stock but you just had to fight back on it. When you get to that point we should all just cut it and come back later.
Cutting losses quickly very good lesson Ty Tim G

Thanks Tim for being transparent and telling me what to do especially when I am being stubborn
Thanks Tim
Thank you Tim.
stubbornness. fighting stocks going against them and fighting positions going against them. cut your losses at your risk point. its def worth it to be tricked every now and then to avoid those BIG crushing defeats.
