I have noticed ( with the utmost respect) you seem to get stubbon on the shorts where there was a big news item. These two losses for example were from biotech stocks while LAKE was from EBOLA insanity, so being aware of the insanity of the crowd may help. In the end you are probably the best trader in the world.... and your dvd is just amazing..... keep earning millions!!!

Nice video lesson! I'm stubborn with stops/risk too, especially with knowing its just when it will crack. I wish every broker had that option for auto cut. Thanks for sharing and being more transparent than 99%

Summary 1. Do not try to make up for a lost 2. Do not fight agains the stock 3. Do not look for reasons to be right Great video, but it makes me doubt of the strategy we are implementing. Tim G seems to be tacking the charts patterns to find a correlation in the price action. While we seems to be taking action based on the price action and fundamentals.

Great video lesson. Reminds me of how trading so much more of an art than a science. Admit when you're wrong and move on to the next one.

This stock also took some profits on friday and got scare biased on this stocks movement, and i saw it afternoon crack without me also, being on suretrader, first day crack - easy to borrow shares, but today monday will be crashing and no more shares to short, lost op on friday afternoon for being scared to, must work on it!!! TKS TIm G. awesome reviews on trades.

Excellent lesson they make for very good lessons, we are very fortunate to be able to learn from others with the tools at hand here in Profit.ly. In this example Grittani goes over a loss his thought process and how you identify the root cause, it is very important to note how he identified and the thoughts on what should have been done what will you do better and then make a plan on fixing it, We all make mistakes the Key is to Learn from them and keep on Walking (sun)

Such a great recap. Thanks for sharing Tim! IMO the best part is when he says it's worth it to cut a loss even if it comes back to breakeven or a profit because it'll help prevent a loss like this in the future.

Thanks Tim for the good lessons on a big loss. It is always a huge help to have traders that will share what they did wrong so everyone can learn. Like how you said you knew you were fighting the stock but you just had to fight back on it. When you get to that point we should all just cut it and come back later.

stubbornness. fighting stocks going against them and fighting positions going against them. cut your losses at your risk point. its def worth it to be tricked every now and then to avoid those BIG crushing defeats.
