ok so if I understand this video correctly NVGN is following this same pattern (but a lower priced stock), and would of been good to buy into the close today, Same pattern, former runner up 50% on positive catalyst good risk reward. and damn near identical to the two examples in the vid... I'll be keeping an eye out for these from now on

So if $CUBA ends up going lower pre-market, is it still going to bounce at market open?

Excellent lesson Tim! Dip buying into close former runners/spikers for bounce near support on analyst upgrade. A great risk/reward formula. Thank you!

Very good lesson. It is very important to be able to spot good runners on your own based on the pattern, examples given CUBA for a dip buy since the daily chart showed it had decent chances of bouncing with a continuation and LOCO had a nice pattern that signaled it would more than likely have a nice run. Tim explains how his alerts are not for anyone to chase or follow but instead educational alerts for you to learn from, learning how to fish on your own, with solid rules.

Always look for past supports, and always look to see if the stock spiked in the past or collapsed to have a better understanding on what your trading

"Gap up with a catalyst on a former runner that is beaten down, buying into market close' - noice

Conner_TaMader

Good to think outside the box a bit to see potential trades. Actively thinking about these trades will let you get a better position before others see the spike. $CUBA gapped up on the recent news of lifting the embargo on Cuba which is good for the US and this stock. Just like LOCO when it fell hard and had a gap up which led to more spiking the next day. Always watch recent runners b/c when they bounce for the first time off the highs and hold they can make for great dip buys near the close.

Lessons 2486- 2488: when you have a former runner that gaps up with a catalyst, don't chase but buy into close, good risk reward and spike ability on this beaten down stock.($CUBA and LOCO) Thanks Tim.

Thanks Tim. Former runner - beaten down stock with catalyst - gap up and fade - buying it into the close near support - good recipe for another gap up and/or morning spike
