I feel it's pretty difficult to determine when to enter especially when it comes to supernova. I know I should observe and wait for a dip but in reality, I worry about the price goes too high or too quick, then I can't catch that moment.

SMS alert didnt come through. Found alert in email box after 2 hrs. bought at around 0.057. Not sure a bit too late entry maybe. Now installed profitly app.

@Cynthia, i believe that's the idea. The stock has been trending upward for 2 weeks, so it's got some momentum behind it. And Tim said there's "talk" which i think means actual news should be coming out soon. Then hopefully "everybody" will buy in, pushing up the price. Just a newbie's take. But you might be better off not watching. Feeding your anxiety when you can't act won't help you. Do something you enjoy and tune back in tomorrow.

Holding overnight. Im a newbie couldn't figure out how to put in the stop loss on etrade. Is that just a market order at the stop loss strike price?

@willisstan Use "stop limit" and set your STOP slightly higher than your limit then you wont "miss a fill"

@willisstan never market order, choose limit, I won't do stop loss, the price you get out will be way lower than you expected if you go stop loss

Got the sms and email, only paper trading until funds in etrade clear. got in at .046 and out at .059 for a quick 31% gain. hopefully real life goes as smooth :)

Dude, I got it just fine. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. When you lose you learn. There's no better way to alert than SMS/text. Don't get mad, get educated.

I experienced the same issue with no text notification. Working on that issue. $66.00 loss with commission. I agree in that we now have a little idea how this will play out.

Just wanted to say the alert worked beautifully. I don't receive the texts and got an email notification which is just as good as a text in my opinion. No Super Nova but great alert Tim.
