You're the real deal. Exponential growth happening right here! Awesome!

NASDAQ multi month breakout. Fun, fast moving day trade here. I was calculating my position size with an entry at 3.08 - 3.10 right before the big rip started at 11:17 am, and then waited when it ran without me. When it broke the 3.50 high from mid morning, I decided to enter with a risk off of 3.50. Started selling immediately after I got my fill with how fast it spiked.

Hi John, On this play when you were planning on getting in at 3.08/3.10 was your risk level at 2.90 before it ripped without you? I hate when your planning to get in on a play and it takes off without you or you get in and then the stock starts to go in the wrong direction and drops. Any tips on what to look for with these kinds of plays?
@jestrade81 No, for the original price I was looking to enter, I was going to risk off of 2.56 which was the low point after the initial spike. I'm hesitant to give any tips on this kind of play. I know my reasons, but can't explain everything I considered when decided to play this. This was a multi month b/o, but it also was a much more volatile stock than I usually play, which is why I exited right away.
Okay, I see, That's the key technical level that you talked about in the article that Roland was sharing at the TI Summit conference. Makes more sense. So I guess you probably would want to get into that play early on to reduce your risk level amount as long as everything is in play Multi- day/week/month B/O, Volume, good catalyst etc...
