This was a big gainer that had been holding all day, so I bought it hoping to hold overnight and get a good morning spike. It downtrended at the end of the day and instead of cutting losses, I added. That was a bad idea. For now I always need to cut losses if I'm thinking of adding because the trade isn't going my way and I've lost a lot when adding to losing plays. Adding has never worked in my favor yet.
