1)Volatile stock - Yes. 2)Catalyst-negative earnings news. 3)Tradeable-yes, but not always on IB. 4)Risk 0.12, reward 0.50 based on tech analysis. 5)Rewards vs. risk ok. Tried to short 1000 shares, only got executed on 400. Planned to make .50 as the stock dropped then get out. Set up automatic trades on IB - didn't do it correctly and was executed early for only a 0.10/share profit. Turned out ok though because 30 min later I would have gotten executed at my stop loss for a -50 total trade.
