My first day and my first trade as a Trading Challange student, I bought 3,500 shares ZAGG @(4.79)...looking to get over $5 like Tim says...Im feeling stoked! :)

Entry comments: Buying this multi-month technical breakout above 4.80, up on earnings last week & up on the Beats deal speculation with Apple, would make a nice buyout candidate, if Beats acquisition get announced tonight or tomorrow, this would be a nice sympathy play, goal is to make 10% in the next 1-2 days, not a volatile stock, low risk though, good chart
Exit comments: Gave it some time to have a delayed morning spike, but no dice, so I'm cutting losses on ZAGG...still above key breakout level of 4.80, but no overnight Beats acquisition news and no morning spike void my thesis for buying, gotta trade safe, still holding small longterm position

- May 13, 14 9:35 AM: Added 1000 at 4.76 - Tried to dip buy 8k, only got 1k filled...grrrr, gonna give this one some time since its a slower mover with no specific news

@PolisB we didnt get the news I expected, we didnt get the morning spike I expected and you're buying below the breakout level of 4.80...gotta learn what gets me into a stock and out man, sorry for your loss

Don't be sorry Tim, I lost total of $84 including commission. I learned from you to "Cut Losses Quickly"! This was another good lesson!

And by looking at how ZAGG is dropping thank God I followed your Rule of Cut losses quickly, otherwise this could have been a disaster for me as my first trade as a Challenge student..lol
