In hindsight I should have hedged this trade because I would done pretty well on the call side. My thesis for this trade was pure speculation which turned out to be dead wrong. I though the markets would continue to crash after Brexit.
I made a really dumb mistake on this trade. I accidentally bought the expiration that expired the same day instead of the next week's expiration like I wanted. Lesson learned don't rush when you're picking the option!
Should have sold the same day into the close but I got greedy and held overnight.
Didn't cut my losses like I should have. I bought into a huge washout end of day trying to guess the bottom. I shouldn't have held it overnight.
Bought the huge dip. Should have held longer but when I sold it wasn't holding above the 50 ema like I wanted it to .
Waited for break above the 50 ema after today's big dip.
This was not a comfortable trade for me. I chased it and got a higher entry price than I wanted. The stock dumped on me the next day and I became a bag holder for the next two weeks. I could have held longer but this stock is scary, I'll take profit while I have it.
Held this position for two weeks, probably should have held it longer but wanted to take my profit into today's morning spike. Wish I had a bigger position size, meh oh well.
