Bought in the middle of the morning dip. Not the best price, but an improvement for me. Saw the wall of sellers and heavy resistance at 1.64-1.65. Got out instead of waiting to see if it could break resistance. When not under pdt, I could always re-enter if it does break. Create good habits for tomorrow, not miniscule gains for today!

So many mistakes! #1 rule. CUT LOSSES QUICKLY! Don't hold hope that it will go the way you think it should! The market doesn't care what you think! This is obviously a harder lesson to learn than I'd like to admit to myself in the middle of a trade. It isn't about the loss number in the beginning, it's about creating good habits!!!!! 31% loss is unacceptable and creating bad habits even if that is only $20!!!!

When I put the order in, I thought it would continue past the HOD resistance. Then tried to cancel when I realized that was the top at that point, but it was being executed at that moment. Then sold because I didn't know that was the bottom. But cut losses before reaching my low limit. Always remember after your account grows you can re-enter when it is performing better. creating good habits, $10.50 could easily be $100-1000s with bigger positions.

I thought I was buying into the strength of a dip. Then it just became a lot of sideways action, so I waited to see if it would go up or down. Knowing that I would not use another trade for the day, I didn't mind to wait until it started to tie up my time for other family activities. remember you're creating habits for when you're not under PDT. So, get out if it's not doing what you want. Then you can focus on better trades.

Pure luck! I thought I canceled the order when I realized that the data was delayed and blew past my order to $2.50. The position showed after STT was back up. I thought I was sitting on my hands while my account could have blown up. While it is my first profit, it was not a good trade. Great lesson today!!!!
