Was anticipating to hold this until May 4th to reach maximum profit, expecting it to stay below $171, but since there was a nice dip i decided to close my position early and take my profits.
Entry: LRCX had earnings AH on entry. They reported positive earnings on the past 4-5 earnings reports. Just from this I felt like their price action was already priced for positive earnings. So I entered a short vertical spread and planned on closing on the morning dip into the morning sell off. Exit: As soon as market opened the stock dropped about $1-2 so I exited right away.
Enetered this option with the anticipation that the $290 area would hold support. I was willing to take my losses down to $287, it dipped further and I got scared so I closed my position.
