Bought on positive expectations prior to quarterly performance announcements. Price had been on the rise. Sold the day before performance announcements came out per Tim's training to not hold through announcements.

Ok. This stock looked like it was on a downward path, but I shorted into what became a green day and held overnight thinking it would come back down. Got caught in a spike and when I tried to cover, the SureTrader platform crapped out on me. I couldn't execute the trade, and the spike continued while I worked with Support. I got buried. All kinds of lessons here.

My first short attempt ever. I came out on top by a very small fraction, but this was a good lesson. The commissions ate me alive, but I'm just happy to have successfully shorted a stock.

Cut my losses a bit too late on this.

Shouldn't have bought at the open. Lesson learned.

Time to chill out and study Tim's video's before trading anymore.
