This was a big news/percent gainer. All was good until I got greedy and didn't lock in profit, had no exit strategy and no plan in place. Held over night and went negative. Watched a lot of video lessons after this crappy trade. Committed to making Tim's rules my own and living buy them.
Failed at rule number one! Went into trade based on someone else's tip, I had researched nothing. I looked at the chart on Friday and thought I missed the run up and am late to the game. Bought into the hype on Monday I rolled the dice and lost, didn't cut losses so I lost more.
Spiked at the opening of the day. Bought on the dip. Target was 20 cents. Sold way to quickly as it ran up past $5. Played to safe with small position size.
Entry comments: went long on VLTC 14.11 out at 11.80, $54 loss
Exit comments: FIRST TRADE, WENT LONG THINKING IT WOULD BREAKOUT. ONLY WAY TO LEARN IS TO JUMP IN AND LEARN FROM MISTAKES.
